What to expect from your treatment

In an initial consultation, one of our highly qualified skincare experts will discuss your skincare issues and expectations. Your practitioner may recommend a course of treatment for optimum results.

Avoid any other exfoliating skin treatments such as microdermabrasion for two weeks before your chemical peel, and avoid exposing your skin to the sun. Using a high factor sun protection cream is also recommended.

Your practitioner will firstly cleanse your skin, then carefully apply a chemical agent (either an alpha hydroxy acid such as glycolic acid, lactic acid, or mandelic acid or a beta hydroxy acid such as salicylic acid).

You may experience a mild and temporary tingling as the chemical agent takes effect.

To finish off, your practitioner will apply a neutralising agent to remove the solution.

Many of our clients choose to complement a chemical peel with laser treatment, microdermabrasion, anti wrinkle injections or dermal fillers.

The results

  • A transformed and glowing complexion

  • Smoothing of fine lines and wrinkles

  • Improvement of uneven pigmentation and scar tissue
